45 years of Halloween Revelry has lead to this moment!

The City of Athens with DJ B-Funk and Jack’d UP are proud to present to you the 45th iteration of Halloween in Athens!

We have several new things to share with you, but the important information is that on Sat. October 26h starting at 1:00 pm the festivities WILL BEGIN! YES, HALLOWEEN IS STARTING EARLY!

Starting at 1:00 pm on Sat. Oct. 26th. 2019
The Block on Union Street from Congress to Court Street will become a carnival from 1 pm to 6 pm with family friendly activitities including:
-Kiddie Dance Party by Rockin Reggie and DJ B-Funk (wear those kids out wth line dances, contests, and bouncing around)
-The Athens Public Library will be on site with their Pop Up Library with some additional activities (button making!)
-Face Painting
-Live Reptiles
-Cookie Decorating
-And more! (want to be included? let us know! we still have space)

Then at 6:00 pm we will have the world Famous Honey for the Heart Parade starting down by Fern Alley working its way down Court Street.

Starting at 6:00 we will also have both Stages playing music from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm.

We will slowly tease the lineups on this page. Some new faces and some old, but plenty you’ll enjoy! North Stage by Court Side Pizza will feature live bands, while the South Side Stage which will be on UNION this year in front of BW3’s will feature DJs of various genres.

Also, new this year we will have a beer garden on the Union Block in front of the stage. Miller Lite, Bud Lite, White Claw, Coors Lite, Michelob Ultra, Blue Moon, and more will be on sale for those of age and interested in enjoying a Brew during the day.

Don’t forget we will have an event on Top of the Parking Garage with music the night before on Friday, Oct. 25th and then on Sat. Nov. 2nd we will be holding a Pumpkin Chucking Event out at the fair grounds! We hope you join us at one or all of these fun events!
